“I am pleased about the recognition of my international colleagues and the trust they have placed in me. The IMCLC, as the umbrella organization of national contactological societies, has the task of establishing, consolidating and further developing important medical standards in ophthalmology worldwide in collaboration with the international board. For this we need optimally trained specialists in all countries. It is the goal of my presidency, together with the IMCLC Board, experts from all countries, university institutions and local ophthalmologists, to present the corresponding scientific state-of-the-art spectrum to as many colleagues as possible at the next World Congress (WOC) in Barcelona and to offer professionals from all over the world.”
